Anatoly Akue, aka AKUE1, started his artistic path with graffiti and street art in 1997, and the aesthetic influence is still evident in his work today.

Graphics and oil, classical graffiti forms and abstract painting – his work can be found on streets, in urban-art festivals, and prestigious events like the Venice Biennale.

For the last 5 years he has concentrated on his studio work, searching for ways to combine forms with joy from abstract painting and influences of Buddhist philosophy and symbolism.

His artwork is exploring the development and transformation of our inner qualities and process of uniting meditations and other science with everyday experience in art and life.
