My mural painting is about finding your own light and moving forward with it, even in the depths of uncertain times as represented by the odd and scary-looking sea creatures found in the bottom of the ocean.

我的壁畫是關於尋找自己的光明並與它一起前進，即使是在以海底發現的奇怪可怕海洋生物為代表的不確定時代的深處。

Nicole Roquel is an analog illustration artist and art tutor. Her artworks are often inspired by the nostalgia of her childhood and her third culture upbringing as a Filipina born and raised in Hong Kong. Nicole’s work uses bright colors that juxtapose with her narratives and characters; They wear a somewhat melancholic expression and are set in deconstructed yet familiar spaces, as if to recall fragments of a distant memory.

Nicole 是一位在香港長大的菲律賓插畫家和美術導師。她的作品靈感大多來自她作為第三文化兒童的童年回憶及她在香港長大的經歷。Nicole的作品使用明亮的色彩與她帶著渴望和憂鬱表情的角色並置。他們的表情略顯憂鬱，置身於解構但又熟悉的空間中，彷彿正在回憶遙遠的記憶碎片。
