Finu x Yunus is a HK based collab who have worked together on a number of projects, such as the Kinetic Museum exhibition and Fauve Radio’s graphic identity. Merging Finu’s illustrated universe and Yunus’ audio visual installations, the two artists are constantly exploring new ways of mixing medias to tell a story.

Yunus focuses on mediums involving sound and visual performances. He has been collaborating with other artists in visual installations for exhibitions and large scale electronic music events such as the Electronic Museum series. He holds a Master degree in urbanism from the Sorbonne University and follows his passion for video and interactive scenography, linking social sciences to art. By exploring and reappropriating urban spaces to transform them into unique audio/visual experiences, Yunus strives to bring to light today’s urban societies’ desire to gather and express themselves creatively.

Finu is known for her grotesque anamorphic depictions of humans and animals, whose level of emotional directness charms the viewer in unexpected ways. She seeks to recreate the universe found on the outskirts of her consciousness – a world populated by shadowy figures and unusual faces, that can either be found in a state of deep meditation or flabbergasted by the situation they seem to have put themselves in. Defying the laws of nature by playing with form and proportion, finu redefines reality using traditional sketching techniques and figural distortion in place of conventional notions of beauty.

Yunus主要研究聲音及視覺表演相關的媒介。無論是在展覽中的視覺裝置藝術，又或是在大型電音節（如 Electronic Museum系列活動），他都曾與其他藝術家進行合作。他擁有巴黎大學城市規劃方面的碩士學位，同時熱愛攝錄及互動舞台設計，把社會科學與藝術緊密連結。Yunus通過探索及重組都市空間，並將之轉化為獨特的聲音或視覺體驗，祈望可以呼喚出現代都市社會內對聚集及創意表達的渴望。

Finu因筆下奇形怪狀的人物及動物變形體而聞名，如此直接的情緒表達，讓觀者毫不設防地陶醉其中。在潛意識的邊緣地帶，她祈求能重新創造出一個宇宙——這個世界裡充滿著模糊的身影及不尋常的面孔，這些人或是在深深的冥想當中，或是因他們所處的環境而大驚失色。無視自然的法則，Finu盡情操控筆下的形式及比例，以傳統素描的技術及打破傳統美感的人物變形扭曲，重新定義了現實。
