2020 KATHAA - STORIES FROM INDIA ON HONG KONG WALLS
In partnership with Memeraki, we held a week-long festival from the 5th of January to the 12th of January, 2020, celebrating Indian folk arts and artists for the first time in Hong Kong. Featuring 4 Indian Artists – Venkat Shyam (Gond Artist), Anil Wangad (Warli Artist), Apindra Swain (Pattachitra Artist), Ranjeet Jha (Madhubani Artist), live painting exterior murals in various locations across Hong Kong, complemented by an exhibition of the artists paintings at Gaylord Restaurant and Gunpowder Restobar.
Presented jointly by Memeraki and HKwalls – a huge thank you to Mrs. P Shroff and the Consulate General of India Hong Kong for their support and to our other supporting partners – Mayfare Group, Beyond the Boundaries, InHarmony, India by the Bay & Spic Macay Hong Kong.
We were excited to be joined by the entire community during that week to create beautiful art across Hong Kong. Below is the locations of wall murals.

2020 KATHAA – 香港壁畫上的印度故事
我們於2020年1月5日至1月12日與Memeraki合作舉辦了一個為期一周的藝術節，首次在香港慶祝印度的民間藝術和藝術家。 該藝術節匯集了四位印度藝術家，分別有Venkat Shyam（貢德藝術家）、Anil Wangad（沃利藝術家）、Apindra Swain（帕塔契特拉藝術家）和Ranjeet Jha（馬杜巴尼藝術家），他們在香港各地的壁畫場地即場繪畫，與在Gaylord Restaurant（爵樂印度餐廳）和Gunpowder Indian RestoBar （印度餐廳）中展覽的藝術家畫作相互映襯。
