KC WONG
KC Wong is a Hong Kong-based multidisciplinary artist and cultural provocateur, blending sneaker art, illustration, and recycled materials to dissect consumer culture and social hierarchies. As the founder of Sick Sick Creation (a storytelling-driven creative agency) and ARTube (a dynamic art platform), Wong bridges street culture and high art with incisive wit. His exhibition Hall of Unfamed reimagines sneakers—ubiquitous symbols of status—as stylized portraits adorned with recycled elements and visible brand logos. By juxtaposing luxury commodification with societal critique, Wong challenges viewers to confront the paradox of identity in a consumerist world. His work, exhibited across Asia and featured in media like Hypebeast, transforms everyday objects into mirrors of cultural ambition and inequality.
