Taka was born and raised in Japan where he established a love of Japanese traditional and comtemporary art. He later went on to explore the world and has lived in Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Hong Kong, These experiences and cultural differences have inspired his art and
lifestyle.

TAKA is also the founder of Avalanche Design, and Lorn Clothing.
