Polo Stellato

The wall “Polo Stellato”, created for HKWALLS Festival, is a tribute to Marco Polo and his journey from Italy to Asia. The colours, alternating with black and white, as well as the symbols enclosed in the artwork, highlight the elements of the different cultures that the traveller met along the route as well as the synergies created by their contrasts.

UNO is an artist who lives and works in Rome since the early 2000s. His artistic production is characterised by the use of various techniques and classic tools that belong to Street Art such as decoupage, collage, stencils, and painting with spray cans. UNO reinforces his message with these techniques, and remind us of the individual and his uniqueness, continually manipulated until lost in the multiplicity of society.

One hundred thousand, no one, UNO.
