「過度思考」

“Overthinking” is the main keyword throughout my works. Im always fascinated by the moment when people are lost in thoughts.The recurring thought bubbles within my creations symbolize the swirling ideas and emotions in one’s mind, presenting intangible cluttered thoughts in an funny manner before the audience.

For my first mural, I aim to highlight my signature bubbles alongside a white-haired character who acts as a reflection of myself. His name is Vero and he possesses inherent sensitivity, harboring a multitude of questions and complex emotions that swirl within his mind. However, his tendency to overthink often leaves him with a lingering sense of loneliness and alienation. Through Vero’s perspective, I embark on a profound exploration, unveiling the depths of my inner self and emotional states to the audience.

「過度思考」是貫穿我作品的主要關鍵字。我總是著迷於人們陷入沉思的時刻。我的創作中反覆出現的思想泡泡象徵著一個人腦海中紛飛的想法和情感，以一種有趣的方式將無形的雜亂的想法呈現在觀眾面前。對於我的第一幅壁畫，我的目標是突出我的標誌性氣泡和一個代表我自己的白髮角色。他的名字叫Vero，擁有與生俱來的敏感度，心中盤旋著眾多的問題和複雜的情緒。然而，他的過度思考傾向常常讓他感到揮之不去的孤獨感和疏離感。透過維羅的視角，我進行了一次深刻的探索，向觀眾揭示了我內心深處的自我和情感狀態。

SIUKINS is an artist from Hong Kong who often explores the theme of Overthinking in his creations. Through introspection and personal experiences, he continuously delves into the relationship between thoughts and individuals, as well as the complexities of human emotions. His works are deeply influenced by Japanese art and design aesthetics, and the recurring thought bubbles represent the swirling ideas and emotions in one’s mind, presenting intangible cluttered thoughts in an engaging and playful manner before the audience. The characters he portrays often emanate a sense of detachment, and combined with his signature bubbles and colors, SIUKINS depicts a new worldview that is uniquely his own.

SIUKINS is one of the 3 talented young artists that has been selected to participate in the 2024 Spring edition of our HKWALLS Youth Mentorship programme! Under the guidance of mentor Tat from Graphic Airlines (@tat_graphicairlines @graphicairlines) his six week programme will culminate in him painting a mural at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel (@hkowofficial) during the 2024 HKWALLS Festival on March 23-31. 

SIUKINS 是一位來自香港的藝術家，創作多以思考為題，並透過 內省及親身感受，不斷探索思想與人之間的關係和人類情感的複雜性。他的創作深受 日本藝術和設計美學的影響，作品中反覆出現的thought bubbles代表著腦海中千迴百 轉的想法及情感，把無形的雜念以一個有趣的方式呈現在觀眾眼前。而他筆下的角色 總是散發著一股疏離感，結合他標誌性的氣泡和色彩，SIUKINS描繪了一個屬於他自己 的多想世界。 

SIUKINS 是被選中參與 2024春季HKWALLS 師友藝術計劃的三位年輕藝術家之一！在導師 Tat @Graphic Airlines (@tat_graphicairlines @graphicairlines) 六星期的指導下，他將會在 3 月 23 日至 31 日 2024 HKWALLS 街頭藝術節期間在香港摩天輪 (@hkowofficial) 通過壁畫展示他的學習成果。
