In this workshop, you will be introduced to the basics of linocut carving and printing techniques. You will be designing, carving and printing mono-colour slaps by hand. You’ll learn how to identify what makes an ideal image for a linocut artwork by transferring your art onto lino surface and carve it out. Images can be printed onto adhesive papers or other mediums that you preferred – paper, fabric etc, turning your creative ideas into actual products!

版畫工作坊將介紹基本的版畫製作和印刷技巧。參加者將設計和製作自己的版畫貼紙，由學習合適製作成版畫的圖案，到用各種雕刻刀親身製作圖案，最後將圖案印刷在貼紙或其他表面上，讓你用無限創意製作成獨一無二的藝術品！

About the tutors 導師簡介 －
CJ – Creative Director in a HK creative agency, started putting hand printed slaps around the city since 2013. Soon after posted on Instagram, many sticker bombers around the world asked for slaps exchange. The iconic llama went all over the world and even slaps exhibitions in various city (NYC, Germany, etc). The requests for llama slaps were overwhelming, The Martians must have sent out over 10k slaps and a kind few thousand slaps in return.

CJ – 香港一家創意設計機構的創意總監。從2013年起於香港製作自己的塗鴉貼紙，於Instagram發佈後吸引全球的sticker bombers互相交換貼紙。其標誌性的美洲鴕卡通圖案跨越世界各地，並曾參與紐約、德國等地的塗鴉貼紙展覽。

Yan Yung – HK Artist, who studied Printmaking in OCAD Toronto, Canada. She loves experimenting mix medias with her detailed ink art, linocuts and printmaking.
